Passionate service-driven professional with a talent for relating to people, Melanie easily connects to team members in any setting with the heart of a teacher. Melanie started out in the classroom- wrangling middle schoolers and using a creative game-based classroom to engage students in Spanish, Business 101, or Improv Comedy. This experience is a constant driver for Melanie's professional goals- how can we bring energy and life to design and still accomplish our user experience goals. It's possible.

Over 10 years experience using the written word to communicate effectively with her audience. Melanie is a wordsmith and public speaker. At Urban Harvest STL, she worked as the Grant Writer and then Operations Assistant- giving her time to a nonprofit that fights food insecurity in St. Louis.
